Primal Scream Announce New Album Due On 8th November On CD And Vinyl

Primal Scream's 12th full-length record, "Come Ahead," is set for release on November 8th. This album features 11 new songs that highlight some of the most personal songwriting by Bobby Gillespie and the band to date.

 

Bobby Gillespie has expressed his excitement about Primal Scream's upcoming album "Come Ahead," likening his enthusiasm to that of making a first record. He describes the album's overarching theme as one of conflict, both internal and external. The title "Come Ahead" is derived from a Glaswegian term used when someone challenges another to a fight, encapsulating the indomitable spirit of the Glaswegian people. This aggressive attitude and confidence are reflected throughout the album. Gillespie notes that "Come Ahead" is a cheeky title, embodying the Scottish term "gallus," which conveys a sense of boldness and swagger.
