Coldplay is re-issuing four of their albums on 140 gram Eco Vinyl this September. These EcoRecords offer the same quality of sound and appearance as traditional vinyl records, but they are made from 100% recyclable PET instead of the usual PVC. Additionally, the production of EcoRecords employs injection moulding technology, which results in energy savings of up to 85% compared to the conventional vinyl manufacturing process. This initiative highlights a significant step towards more sustainable music production. Coldplay are contributing to the reduction of environmental impact while continuing to deliver high-quality music to their fans.

A Rush Of Blood To The Head

For the first time, Coldplay's album A Rush of Blood to the Head will be manufactured on EcoRecord. This format ensures the same sound and visual quality as traditional vinyl records but is made using 100% recyclable PET instead of PVC. EcoRecords are produced with injection moulding technology, which provides energy savings of up to 85% compared to the traditional vinyl production process. A Rush of Blood to the Head features the singles "In My Place," "Clocks," "The Scientist," and "God Put a Smile Upon Your Face." Produced by Coldplay and Ken Nelson, the album earned the band three Grammy Awards, including Best Alternative Album and Record of the Year (for "Clocks"). This reissue on EcoRecord represents a blend of high-quality music and sustainable production practices, enhancing the album's legacy while promoting environmental responsibility.


X & Y

For the first time, Coldplay's third studio album, X&Y, will be manufactured on EcoRecord. This new format ensures the same sound and visual quality as traditional vinyl records but uses 100% recyclable PET instead of PVC. EcoRecords are created through injection moulding technology, resulting in energy savings of up to 85% compared to the traditional vinyl production process. X&Y, produced by Coldplay and Danton Supple, has achieved 9x platinum status. The album features popular singles such as "Speed of Sound," "Fix You," "Talk," and "The Hardest Part." This reissue on EcoRecord combines high-quality music with environmentally friendly production, contributing to sustainability in the music industry while maintaining the album's artistic integrity.


A Head Full Of Dreams

For the first time, A Head Full of Dreams by Coldplay will be manufactured on EcoRecord. EcoRecord sounds and looks as great as a traditional vinyl record, but it’s been manufactured using 100% recyclable PET, instead of PVC. EcoRecords are also produced using injection moulding technology, with energy savings of up to 85% compared to the traditional vinyl process. A Head Full of Dreams is the seventh studio album by Coldplay. Produced by Rik Simpson and Stargate, the album features collaborations with Beyoncé, Noel Gallagher, Tove Lo, Khatia Buniatishvili, and Merry Clayton. The album is manufactured on black recycled vinyl and includes the singles "Adventure of a Lifetime," "Hymn for the Weekend," "Everglow," and "Up & Up." This reissue on EcoRecord showcases Coldplay's commitment to sustainability while delivering high-quality music and production.
