The Making Of Five Leaves Left By Nick Drake Is Released As Box Set On 25th July

The Making of Five Leaves Left is a collection that features unaccompanied demos, studio outtakes, and previously unheard songs. It offers a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of Nick Drake’s debut album, Five Leaves Left, capturing the journey of how it came to be released on Island Records in 1969.

 

This Nick Drake Estate-authorized 4 disc edition includes over 30 previously unheard outtakes across three discs, plus the original Five Leaves Left album produced by Joe Boyd. Mastered by John Wood, the set also features a 60-page book with detailed recording notes, charts, and history, written by Neil Storey and Richard Morton-Jack, printed on premium textured paper.
