Released in 1968, Electric Ladyland is the third and final studio album by The Jimi Hendrix Experience and is widely regarded as Jimi Hendrix’s creative masterpiece. A bold and expansive double album, it pushed the boundaries of psychedelic rock, blues, funk, and studio experimentation.

The record includes some of Hendrix’s most iconic performances, such as the explosive “Voodoo Child (Slight Return),” the infectious “Crosstown Traffic,” and the epic reinterpretation of Bob Dylan’s “All Along the Watchtower.” Hendrix’s innovative use of effects, layered production, and expressive guitar work transformed the recording studio into an instrument itself.
