Waiting For The Sun is the third studio album from legendary American rock band The Doors, originally released in 1968. The album marked another evolution in the band's distinctive sound, combining psychedelic rock, blues, jazz influences and atmospheric arrangements with Jim Morrison's enigmatic vocals and poetic songwriting.

Featuring Robby Krieger, Ray Manzarek and John Densmore, the band create a compelling mix of Hammond organ, electric guitar, dynamic drumming and Morrison's commanding presence. The album includes some of The Doors' best-known songs, including “Hello, I Love You,” “The Unknown Soldier,” “Love Street” and “Five To One.”

Waiting For The Sun reached number one in the US and remains an important album in The Doors' celebrated catalogue.
