Suede - Bloodsports CD

Released in 2013, Bloodsports marked Suede's return with their first studio album of new material in over a decade, reaffirming the band's place in British alternative rock. Featuring Brett Anderson's distinctive vocals, Bernard Butler's replacement Richard Oakes on guitar, and the group's signature blend of dramatic melodies, shimmering guitars and emotional intensity, the album delivers a powerful collection of songs about love, desire and relationships. Highlights include the energetic lead single “It Starts And Ends With You”, the atmospheric “Barriers”, the driving “Hit Me” and the epic closing track “Faultlines”. Produced by Ed Buller, Bloodsports combines the urgency of Suede's earlier work with a more mature, polished sound. The result is a compelling return that captures the band's ability to balance romantic drama with infectious alternative rock.
