Porcupine Tree - Voyage 34 2 LP

Porcupine Tree – Voyage 34 is a landmark psychedelic and progressive rock release built around an experimental, four-part musical journey. Originally released in 1992, the project draws on hypnotic repetition, atmospheric soundscapes, electronic textures and extended instrumental passages, reflecting the band's early explorations beyond conventional song structures.

Inspired by the fictional story of a man whose obsession with LSD leads him into increasingly disturbing experiences, the album combines psychedelic rock with ambient influences and spoken-word samples to create an immersive listening experience. Across its four sections, Steven Wilson and the band develop a distinctive sound that moves between tranquil passages, driving rhythms and unsettling sonic effects.

This 2LP vinyl edition presents Voyage 34 as an expansive listening experience, showcasing Porcupine Tree's experimental roots and the progressive ideas that would become central to their later work. An essential release for listeners drawn to psychedelic atmospheres, adventurous arrangements and the darker edges of progressive rock.
