New Model Army - Carnival 2 LP

Originally released in 2005, Carnival is the ninth studio album from British alternative rock band New Model Army. This powerful collection showcases the band's distinctive blend of post-punk, alternative rock and folk influences, driven by the passionate vocals and thought-provoking songwriting of frontman Justin Sullivan.

Featuring the band's trademark combination of muscular guitar riffs, atmospheric arrangements and socially conscious lyrics, the album explores themes of politics, conflict, personal relationships and the human condition.

This special reissue features newly remixed and remastered recordings, overseen by Lee Smith using the original multitrack recordings. The result is a sharper, more powerful sound that brings fresh life to the original album. Four additional tracks, including B-sides and previously unreleased material, expand the original collection.

Highlights include 'Water', 'BD3', 'Rumour And Rapture (1650)', 'Carlisle Road', 'One Bullet', 'Another Imperial Day' and 'Fireworks Night'.

Pressed as a heavyweight double vinyl edition, this release is presented in gatefold packaging and features the expanded 15-track collection.
