In 2025, Chess Records celebrates its 75th anniversary with a special series of audiophile reissues, beginning with Muddy Waters – The Best of Muddy Waters.

Originally released in 1958, this compilation brings together a dozen of Waters’ most essential Chess recordings, including “Hoochie Coochie Man,” “I Just Want to Make Love to You,” and “Rollin’ Stone.”

The 75th Anniversary Series will release monthly titles from the iconic Chess catalogue, preserving the sound of legendary blues, R&B and rock pioneers.
