Marillion - Fugazi LP

Fugazi is the second studio album by British progressive rock band Marillion, originally released in 1984. Featuring the distinctive vocals of Fish, the album develops the atmospheric progressive rock sound established on their debut, Script for a Jester's Tear, with intricate arrangements, expressive guitar work and dramatic keyboard textures.

The album opens with “Assassing”, a powerful track driven by complex rhythms and layered instrumentation. Other highlights include “Punch and Judy”, “Jigsaw”, “Incubus” and the epic title track, which showcases the band's ability to combine ambitious musical passages with evocative storytelling.

With its blend of melodic hooks, dark themes and elaborate musicianship, Fugazi remains a defining release from Marillion's early Fish era.
