Recorded live at Newcastle City Hall on December 8th, 1972, this powerful performance captures King Crimson’s Islands-era lineup in full improvisational force. Originally released as part of the King Crimson Collectors’ Club , this CD showcases the band during a transitional period, with John Wetton recently joining the fold on bass and vocals.

With a raw, unpredictable edge, the set includes early versions of “Larks’ Tongues in Aspic,” “Easy Money,” and other exploratory jams that offer a rare glimpse into King Crimson’s evolution. This is one of the earliest available recordings of what would become one of the most legendary Crimson lineups.
