Keane - Under The Iron Sea LP

Under The Iron Sea is the second studio album by Keane and sees the band expanding far beyond the piano-led warmth of their debut. While still built around Tim Rice-Oxley’s melodic piano arrangements and Tom Chaplin’s expressive vocals, the album introduces darker themes, heavier atmospheres and subtle electronic textures.

The record explores anxiety, isolation and self-reflection, giving the songs a more dramatic and cinematic tone. Keane broaden their sound with layered production, distorted effects and richer arrangements while maintaining the instantly recognisable melodic songwriting that defined their rise.
