Romance is the highly-anticipated fourth album by Fontaines D.C., marking a bold new chapter for the Dublin-formed, now London-based band. Released via XL Recordings, it’s their most ambitious and sonically expansive work yet—produced by James Ford and shaped by a kaleidoscope of global influences, from experimental hip hop to shoegaze, metal, and electronic textures.

Following the success of their #1 album Skinty Fia and 2023’s Brit Award win for “International Group of the Year,” the band evolved through distance, travel, and transformation. Written in fragments across Europe and the U.S., and finalized in an immersive studio retreat in rural France, Romance captures the group’s shift into a more introspective, genre-defying realm.
