Synthesis is a reimagining of Evanescence's most celebrated songs, originally released in 2017. The album combines the band's signature alternative rock and gothic influences with sweeping orchestral arrangements and electronic production, creating a dramatic new interpretation of their music.

Fronted by Amy Lee, Evanescence revisit songs from across their catalogue with a greater emphasis on piano, strings, orchestration and cinematic atmosphere. The result is a powerful and immersive collection that highlights the emotional depth of Lee's distinctive vocals.

The album includes reworked versions of favourites such as “Bring Me To Life,” “My Immortal,” “Lacrymosa” and “Lithium,” alongside new material including “Imperfection.”
