Enya - Shepherd Moons LP

Originally released in 1991, Shepherd Moons is the enchanting third studio album by Irish singer, songwriter and musician Enya. Blending ethereal vocals, layered harmonies, synthesizers and atmospheric arrangements, the album creates a distinctive sound that combines Celtic influences with ambient and new-age music.

Produced by Nicky Ryan, with lyrics by Roma Ryan, the album builds on the dreamlike musical style established by Enya's earlier work. Highlights include the internationally successful single “Caribbean Blue”, the atmospheric “Book of Days”, the delicate “How Can I Keep from Singing?” and the haunting “Smaointe...”.

Featuring lush soundscapes, evocative melodies and Enya's unmistakable multi-layered vocals, Shepherd Moons offers an immersive listening experience filled with tranquillity and emotion. The album received widespread acclaim and won the Grammy Award for Best New Age Album in 1993.
