Carrie Rodriguez came to prominence with a 2001 show at SXSW after which she made several albums with Chip Taylor before establishing herself as a highly-accomplished solo artist with a schedule of highly acclaimed shows with the likes of Lucinda Williams and Alejandro Escovedo and a handful of well-received albums. ‘Love & Circumstance’, represents a chance for Carrie to take stock and time to cover some of her favourite songs by writers who have been a big influence on her as well as one by her father David Rodriguez.
