The self-titled debut album from Blondie introduced the world to one of the most influential bands to emerge from the New York punk and new wave scene. Originally released in 1976, the record blends raw punk attitude with 1960s pop melodies, girl-group harmonies and garage rock energy.

Fronted by Debbie Harry, the album features early classics including X Offender, Rip Her To Shreds and In The Flesh. While their later releases would bring global superstardom, this debut captures Blondie at their most underground — rooted in the CBGB scene alongside bands like Television and Talking Heads.
