Gojira - L'Enfant Sauvage (RR76512) CD
The French metal band Gojira, undoubtedly one of the most respected extreme metal bands in the world today, released on June 25 their new album “L'Enfant Sauvage”, fifth album of the quartet (their debut at Roadrunner). Trained in 2001 by the Duplantier brothers (Joe and Mario, singer-guitarist and drummer respectively), Christian Andreu (guitar) and Jean-Michel Labadie (bass), Gojira has won his stripes on the international metal scene: whether it be with Metallica (who personally chose them to make their first part in the United States and Europe) or by Lamb of God (who also took them on tour), the Landes group benefited from an unparalleled popularity rating that has far exceeded our borders. Recorded in New York and produced by Josh Wilbur, “L'Enfant Sauvage” follows “The Way of All Flesh” (2008) which allowed Gojira to go on the roads for almost 2 years. This new album will allow fans to regain the sound that made the band's success, between technical death metal and atmospheric groove metal.
