In 1984, Gary Numan founded Numa Records after leaving Beggars Banquet, marking a new creative phase in his career. The first release, Berserker, showcased a harder-edged digital sound while maintaining analogue influences. The album highlighted Numan’s artistic evolution, blending fictional and personal themes into a compelling musical experience. Even after 40 years, Berserker remains celebrated for its haunting themes and standout tracks like "My Dying Machine," "This Is New Love," and "Berserker."
